Everett D. Miller -- RIP

An awesome looking cake delivered on September 30, 2018 after the church service.

Even those nearly year 100 can have interests and peculiarities. Here’s some of Everett’s. Be sure to click on Bio in the menu to see an historical perspective.

You may not recognize him. He frequently wears a baseball hat. He is known to hang out in fast food places and Keno gambling joints.

You may not know that he:

• Keeps a low profile
• Had honorable service in World War II
• Received an award from the French government for his World War II service
• Drives an unassuming car
• Reads Popular Science Magazine
• Is an expert computer solitaire player

Favorite activities can be daily activities. He probably would not tell you about them if you encounter him in person. For example:

• Watching Forensic Files
• Late night activity on the computer (without Internet!)
• Spreading limburger cheese spread on toast

This was his favorite. Sadly, it was discontinued years ago.

To this day, he keeps quiet about his achievements. You may have been affected by his work and not even know it.

• School children at a certain elementary school have gone home with his work
• Regulars at a church entrusted him with their donations
• AARP members are wiser after their meetings with him
• Mail gone astray has been redirected by him to the correct recipient
• Insightful support may have been imparted without notice
• Was one of the early volunteers of the now Spirit of America Federal Credit Union
